How To Trick People Into Thinking You're Good Looking // Jenna Marbles

Summary: Jenna Marbles teaches you how to trick people into thinking you're good looking when you are ugly.

Watch the video above to see what tips she gives.

Enjoyability: This was a fun sarcastic video that basically tells you to do the opposite of what it is saying. To do this it uses quite blunt humour and a topic that is pretty much universal. It is a short video that gets right to the point and gives you a few laughs while doing so.

Comparison to other videos: This is obviously the video that propelled YouTube sensation Jenna Marbles to where she is today and if it wasn't good she wouldn't have the level of success she has now. Over the years the humour in her videos has matured but hasn't lost that quintessential Jenna Marbles touch. I would say that this is one of her best videos if not purely for the fact that it is by far the most popular but also for the fact that it is so simple yet effective. After this video plenty of people made similar sort of videos and even though they were funny they couldn't compete with the original.

Originality: The concept of the video wasn't exactly new and neither was the subject matter but it was done in such a way that it made you forget that you've been hearing people say the same jokes for years. I'm sure that before this was made there were other videos that basically said the same thing but didn't have the same impact that this has and I think the way it was delivered made it more unique and original than it really is.

Overall: This is easily one of the most popular videos made by a Youtuber on YouTube but this doesn't mean that it is the best video. While I enjoyed this video it wasn't original enough or outstandingly funny enough to make me give it anything over 8/10.
