Darude - Sandstorm (Cover) // NigaHiga (Ryan Higa)

Summary: Ryan Higa does another episode of dear Ryan where he is asked to sing Darude Sandstorm.

Watch the video above to see his response.

Enjoyability: Ryan's videos are always edited so cleverly and take so many twists and turns that if you stop concentrating for a second you won't get the joke. This is one of the aspects that make his videos so interesting and this one is no exception. I was left wondering what ingenious way he would come up with to sing Darude Sandstorm and I was definitely not disappointed. It leaves me baffled at how he came up with this idea let alone how he filmed it and edited it as well as how he consistently uploads new videos every week. If you are looking for a video that will stretch your mind then I suggest you go watch this and all his other videos.

Comparison to other videos: It is hard to compare videos that are so great to each other especially since all his videos are great for different reasons. However compared to the other videos on YouTube this is better in terms of production and editing as well as concept because a lot of other videos seem to be more basic in nature and this video is closer to the production level of a TV show rather than the average one of YouTube.

Originality: This is definitely an original concept, one that you immediately know belongs to the great mind that is Ryan Higa. It must take a very creative mind to create such intricate links between seemingly unconnected things which eventually give you a finished project that makes everything make sense. There hasn't been another video like this on YouTube and this is what makes it stand out, even if someone else had the same idea they may have not been able to put it together like Ryan did. Also the fact that it took a popular internet joke and weaved it into the video made it just that bit better.

Overall: This video was of a high quality and even though it wasn't the very best on Ryan's Channel it was one of the best on YouTube in my opinion and it is for this reason that I am giving this video the first 10/10 on The YouTube Junkie.
