A DISS TRACK AGAINST MYSELF (Roast Yourself Challenge)



Summary: Lilly does a diss track about herself for the Roast yourself challenge

This challenge was started by Ryan Higa as a reaction to the so called 'Youtube Drama' that has been occurring recently which I have no clue about. I guess I have been slacking on my duties as a Youtube Fangirl. ;D . Anyway he challenged Superwoman as well as few other youtubers to roast themselves like he did so I guess we have him to thank for this funny video.


Lilly becomes her very own hater in this video and talks about some of her flaws like how she can't do her makeup and dresses like a tomboy which makes us realise that just like you and I youtubers are mere mortals who have imperfections too.


This was one of the first in what has now become a YouTube trend which I personally I have relished in. If you are a fan of the youtuber making the video then it makes it all that more funny as there are lots of inside jokes and throwbacks in it. I can say this is one trend much like the Draw My Life trend that I can truly get behind. As it shows Youtubers not taking themselves too seriously and showing the human aspect of them.


Also who doesn't love making a good joke out of someone and it's even better and adds a different perspective if it's coming from yourself. I'm sure the trolls are having a field day with this trend as all their hard work littering the comments with negativity has lead to a series of amusing videos about Youtubers.


Overall the video was nothing thought provoking or overly complicated but that was part of what makes it good. Sometimes bigger Youtubers feel like they have to do too much in order to entertain their fanbase as they forget people loved them when they filmed their videos on a terrible camera with no lighting in 360p. Furthermore the video quality was up to Lilly's usual standard and I love the way she uses props and makeup to transform into separate characters. So I have to give this video a solid 7/10.

Uni is a unique time when you are surrounded by like minded individuals who all want to make something of their life. So naturally you'll see a lot of people having businesses, being athletes, aspiring singers, models etc and in this midst of so much success it can be disheartening in a way. Many people spend thousands of pounds every year on going to wealth conferences but luckily for you I'm going to explain one of their most taught processes that helps aid you in becoming wealthy.
